The NuWave sales team was in for quite a surprise when they were told to meet at 1380 North Cedar Street of Mason, MI before last Tuesday’s sales meeting.  Upon arrival, they found themselves at Total Firearms, a local firearms dealer with indoor handgun and archery ranges. 

With used guns for rent, everyone loaded up with different calibers, got their ammo, put on ear and eye protection, and proceeded over to the gun range.  Once inside the range, those new to handgun shooting were instructed by Rick of Total Firearms on proper techniques and procedures using a .22 caliber pistol.  Those with more experience were given technique advice from Ed, also of Total Firearms, to improve their accuracy.

Chad Paalman, Managing Partner of NuWave Technology Partners had this to say about Total Firearms and their staff:  “Everyone at Total Firearms was truly a pleasure to work with in pulling off this event for our sales team.  Rick, Ed, and the rest of the guys were extremely gracious and willing to teach those who had never shot before, how to shoot a handgun.  They certainly run a top notch business!” 

Not only was the event a fun start to the day, but it also helped relate to NuWave’s sales goals and strategy for 2012.  Back at the office, the sales team discussed analogies of how different procedures and methods involved in shooting a handgun were similar to those involved in the sales process.  Chad discussed with the sales team that sale sis much like shooting a handgun, first you have to establish a target, then you have to have a strategy, and from there you work on improving your technique.
